Not available to all areas.

1. Speeds of up to 30Mbps/1Mbps are available in selected areas of Sydney and Melbourne on Cable Extreme Plans when downloading from capable sites or across multiple sites. Other areas have speeds up to 17Mbps/256kbps. BigPond Cable Broadband not available all areas. Speeds based on Telstra tests using an Ethernet connection from a site located within a member’s state and Telstra's network. The actual speed for a member may be slower and varies due to many factors including plan selected, member location, method of data transmission (protocol), internet traffic, capacity and popularity of websites, modem and computer hardware used and software configuration. Not compatible with wi-fi [and BYO] modems.
2. On a $39.95 per month plan. Available to new BigPond Broadband customers who remain eligible. Eligible services only count towards one discount. Min cost with HomeLine® Plus and $20 mobile plan is $1,917.84 (additional usage extra). Not available with other offers.
3. Most Telstra mobile post-paid plans $20 and above per month are eligible.
4. Free modem is standard 1-Port modem Self-Install kit.

Motorola SB4100/SB4200 modems are not compatible with the higher speeds on BigPond Cable Extreme. Customers using these modems will need to purchase a new modem by calling BigPond Activations on 131 282. For new modem pricing click here. For customers using a Wi-Fi modem, the actual download speed will be slower than our top speeds, but customers can still achieve superfast broadband speeds.
